To assure all test results used for quality control, verification, dispute resolution and acceptance of asphalt mix are performed in accordance with standard test methods so the test results reflect the actual characteristics of the asphalt mixtures and specification requirements are met.

Proficiency Exam Details:
The Trainee will be expected to demonstrate skills in FM 1-T209, FM 1-T166, FM5-545, AASHTO TP-4 and FM 5-563. The trainee has two chances to pass each test. Two failures in one area constitute failure of the proficiency examination.
