All CTQP Classes include all required exams.
Asphalt Paving Level 1 Class
To assure test results used for quality control, verification, dispute resolution and acceptance of asphalt pavements are performed in accordance with the standard test methods.
Asphalt Paving Level 2 Class
To assure personnel responsible for inspecting asphalt pavement construction (paving and compaction) are familiar with FDOT specification requirements, good construction practices and equipment operation necessary to place and compact a Superpave mixture which will meet requirements for smoothness, texture, density, cross slope and thickness.
Earthwork Construction Inspection Level 1 Class
To safely and effectively sample soil materials from the roadway, take earthwork density readings and record those findings in an FDOT Density Log Book.
Earthwork Construction Inspection Level 2 Class
To provide Trainees with the instruction and skills required for applying the various Standards and Specifications associated with earthwork testing and the proper recording and tracking of those test results in the FDOT Density Log Book.
FDOT Concrete Field Specifications Class
To assure job site concrete tests including quality control, quality assurance, verification, and dispute resolution tests for concrete construction, used as part of the acceptance program are performed in accordance with the Standard Test Methods, project specifications and other contract documents.
Final Estimates Level 1 Tutoring Session & Exam
This is NOT an approved CTQP Class. Spend time with our Final Estimates Instructor, to ensure that field personnel are familiar with activities necessary to provide proper measurements, computations, documentation and submission of the Final Estimate.
Asphalt Plant Level 1 Class
To ensure all test results used for quality control, verification, dispute resolution and acceptance of asphalt mix are performed in accordance with standard test methods, so the test results reflect the actual characteristics of the asphalt mixtures and specification requirements are met.
Asphalt Plant Level 2 Class
To assure personnel operating or inspecting an asphalt production operation (at a plant), are familiar with FDOT specification requirements, good materials management, and equipment operation necessary to produce a superpave mixture which will meet the mix design criteria and mix production requirements.
